titleOfInvention | Fiber for seat belt with high light resistance and webbing for seat belt |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a highly light-resistant fiber for a seat belt, which has high strength, has low elongation, and has a small decrease in strength even when irradiated with light, and a seat belt webbing using the same. A fiber formed of polyethylene naphthalate in which at least 90 mol% of all repeating units are ethylene-2,6-naphthalate units, having a breaking strength of 7.0 cN / dtex or more and 4 cN / dtex. It is a highly light-resistant fiber for seat belts having an elongation under load of 3% or less. Further, it is preferable to contain 0.05 to 5% by weight of a coloring agent. The seatbelt webbing is made of the above-mentioned fiber for high lightfastness seatbelt, and the elongation under a load of 11.1 kN is preferably 4% or less. [Selection diagram] None |
