titleOfInvention | Method for producing ink jet recording material and ink jet recording material |
abstract | An ink jet recording sheet having improved glossiness as well as ink absorptivity and ink drying property by using silica having a small secondary particle diameter and containing no coarse particles and having a uniform particle size, and a method for producing the same. To provide an ink jet recording material having no haze and excellent color development. A process for pulverizing wet silica into fine particles, a classifying process for separating wet silica after the grinding process into coarse particles, a process for feeding back the separated coarse particles, mixing with the raw wet silica, and sending the mixture to the grinding process. And a method for producing an ink jet recording material using only finely divided wet silica particles as a coating liquid for an ink receiving layer. An ink jet recording material in which the ink receiving layer has a multilayer structure and at least one layer close to the support is manufactured by the above-mentioned manufacturing method.
