abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide an image forming apparatus using an electrophotographic method which is less likely to cause background contamination, lowering of image density and deterioration of image quality even when used repeatedly, and which has high image quality and excellent durability. Further, the present invention provides an image forming apparatus using an electrophotography system, which achieves both high resolution and reproduction of an isolated one dot / one dot line, has excellent gradation characteristics, and generates banding and image noise.
