abstract | Kind Code: A1 A two-color rotating particle containing a magnetic material in at least a part thereof is formed by first and second portions having different charging characteristics in a color and a dielectric liquid contacting each other at a boundary surface to form a spherical shape. Provided are a method for manufacturing a clogged single layer and a method for manufacturing a rotating particle display device using the same. A large number of two-color rotating particles (1) are supplied onto a substrate (10) while a magnetic field is generated in a space above the substrate (10) so as to attract at least a part of the two-color rotating particles (1) to the substrate (10). And the step of modulating the magnetic field in the space above the substrate 10 so that the two-color rotating particles 1 move the two-color rotating particles 1 in the direction along the substrate 10 while securing magnetic attraction toward the substrate 10 side. By moving, the two-color rotating particles 1 are converted into a single layer 2 on the substrate 10. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1 |
