A nutritional composition having improved stool properties and stool odor. Oligosaccharides are used as components that can improve stool properties, and polyphenols and catechins are used as components that can improve stool odor of lactic acid bacteria. In the total solid content, the former is used in an amount of 1 to 5% by weight and the latter is used in an amount of 0.05 to 1% by weight. As other nutritional compositions, proteins, fats, sugars, vitamins, minerals and the like are used.
