abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide an ink jet recording sheet having surface gloss and excellent image clarity. An undercoat layer is provided on a support, and at least one ink-receiving layer is provided thereon. The ink-receiving layer is mirror-finished by being pressed against a heated mirror drum while the ink-receiving layer is in a wet state. An ink jet recording sheet according to claim 1, wherein said undercoat layer contains titanium dioxide and a solvent-based adhesive. It is preferable that the ink receiving layer has a structure in which a glossy layer containing inorganic ultrafine particles is provided on an ink absorbing layer containing amorphous silica. More preferably, the total basis weight of the ink jet recording sheet is from 150 g / m 2 to 300 g / m 2 . [Selection diagram] None |
