Provided is an electrochemical sensor that is not consumed for active species to be measured and has a relatively long life. A nonconductive substrate, a first conductive material, a second conductive material, a semi-permeable membrane, a cover member, and a gasket are provided. When the sample to be measured is introduced into the sample chamber 62, the active species and water vapor to be measured quickly penetrate the membrane 60 and come into contact with the electrolyte 58.
