It is an object of the present invention to provide a seat manufacturing method capable of manufacturing a seat while maintaining the seat. A method of waterproofing a seat skin material in which a waterproof skin material is sewn along the shape of a vehicle seat, wherein the waterproof skin material is sewn along the shape of the vehicle seat. A waterproof material is applied from the back side to the seam of the skin material for use, and a waterproof film is pasted on the waterproof material before the waterproof material hardens.
