abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a method of manufacturing a winding of a rotating electrical machine that can reliably prevent the occurrence of a joining defect by simply adding a process having simple contents. An insertion step of inserting a plurality of electric conductors into slots formed in a stator core, and one of the electric conductors approaching a radial direction in a direction in which tips of other electric conductors to be joined are arranged. And a bending step of bending the electric conductor inserted into the slot, and a joining step of joining the bent front ends of the adjacent electric conductors. The deforming step includes a thin plate inserting step of inserting the thin plates 350 and 352 while leaving a deformed portion between the electric conductors to be joined adjacently in the radial direction, and disposing the thin plates 350 and 352 along the radial direction.
