PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for image processing for generating an archive image from a digital image in a human-readable format that provides long-term recordability and storage. The present invention provides a stand-alone, automated system and method. The method includes accessing at least one image in digital form, writing at least one digital image to a photosensitive medium to generate at least one exposed film image, and chemically processing the at least one exposed film image.
