Exhaust gas treatment equipment |
abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a regenerating apparatus for a honeycomb filter capable of removing soot deposited on the surface of partition walls of the honeycomb filter easily and with low energy. An inside of an injection channel 11 installed so as to merge with a honeycomb filter 3 having a plurality of cells partitioned by partition walls and an exhaust system 8 upstream of the case body 2 and through which the outside air 10 passes. And a plasma generating electrode 6 that is capable of generating non-thermal plasma, and includes particulate matter contained in the exhaust gas 9 that has flowed into the case body 2. Is collected by the honeycomb filter 3 and the nitrogen monoxide contained in the exhaust gas 9 is oxidized into nitrogen dioxide by radicals generated by the plasma, and is collected and deposited on the surface of the partition wall by the obtained nitrogen dioxide. An exhaust gas treatment apparatus 1 that can regenerate a honeycomb filter 3 by oxidizing and removing particulate matter. [Selection] Figure 1 |
