abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a toner for developing an electrostatic image, which is excellent in charge environment stability and charge rising property, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The toner particles obtained by a wet method are dried to a water content of 10% or less, and then washed and dried. A method for producing a toner for electrostatic image development, comprising swelling the obtained toner particles in an aqueous medium containing a water-soluble organic solvent, washing, heating, shrinking and drying.
