abstract [PROBLEMS] When a water pollutant concentration is determined by absorbance measurement, a shaking operation with a coloring reagent or a stationary operation for a coloring reaction is performed automatically without fail using a timer function, and the number of samples is large. Provided is a simple concentration measuring device that can efficiently measure even in a short time. A timer starts counting a standing time when a first sample is set in a measurement chamber for a plurality of samples mixed and shaken with a coloring reagent, and at the same time the counting is completed, an absorbance detector is used. 2 measures the absorbance of the first sample. Subsequently, after the replacement with the second sample, only the measurement of the absorbance is performed in order from the second to the last sample without counting the shaking time and the standing time.
