abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a method and an apparatus for easily producing active water that is delicious and good for body health. SOLUTION: (1) Applying negative ions to a water stream and then passing the water stream through a strong magnetic field; or (2) Applying negative ions to the water stream and passing the water stream through a strong magnetic field. The device configuration is provided with negative ion applying means for applying negative ions to the water conveyance upstream of the water conduit, and provided with a strong magnetic field applying means for applying magnetic lines of force to the water downstream thereof, or On the way, a combination of negative ion applying means and strong magnetic field applying means for simultaneously applying negative ions and magnetic lines of force to water supply is provided.
