abstract Provided is a near-infrared absorption filter which has a wide absorption at a wavelength of 780 to 2100 nm in a near infrared region, has a high transmittance at a wavelength of 380 to 780 nm in a visible light region, and has good durability (heat resistance and light resistance). I do. A layer containing a solvent-soluble fluororesin as a binder resin, an immonium compound as a near-infrared absorbing agent, and if necessary, an aromatic carboxylic acid is provided on a transparent plastic film, so that a wavelength of 830 in the near-infrared region is provided. A near-infrared absorbing film having a wide absorption region at 11400 nm, a transmittance at a wavelength of 380 to 780 nm in a visible light region, and a minimum transmittance at a wavelength of 480 to 510 nm is obtained. The near infrared absorbing film is suitably used as a near infrared absorbing filter for a plasma display or the like.
