abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a manufacturing method for laminating an optical element comprising a liquid crystal material layer without a supporting substrate film. A liquid crystal material layer having a fixed liquid crystal alignment formed on an alignment substrate is adhered to a stretched polymer film via an adhesive layer, and then the alignment substrate is peeled off to increase the liquid crystal material layer. After transferring to a molecular stretched film to obtain a laminate comprising a polymer stretched film / adhesive layer / liquid crystal material layer, the laminate is applied to the polymer stretched film surface or the liquid crystal material layer surface via a viscous / adhesive layer.
