titleOfInvention | Modified carbon black |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to further improve black coloring performance and conductive performance when applied to printing inks, paints, conductive plastics, and the like. A modified carbon black obtained by treating a carbon black with an aqueous emulsion of a rosin-based resin, specifically, spraying or spraying an aqueous emulsion of a rosin-based resin on the carbon black during or after the carbon black production process. It is kneaded, dried and manufactured. Since the treatment is carried out with an aqueous emulsion of a rosin-based resin, the obtained carbon black is excellent in dispersibility and can be used to smoothly produce a printing ink or paint excellent in black coloring performance, or a plastic molded article excellent in conductivity.
