abstract [Problem] To be able to use any water that can be drunk without restriction on the installation location and the water quality and temperature of raw water, without fear of directly touching the electrode plate or raw water in the electrolytic cell, Provided is an electrolyzed water generation apparatus that can obtain electrolyzed water immediately when necessary, and that can simplify the operation method and protect the apparatus even in the case of erroneous operation. An electrolyzed water generating apparatus for generating electrolyzed water by applying a voltage to a cathode (42A) and an anode (42B) in an electrolyzer (42). A raw water storage tank 44A, a raw water supply means including a pump 45A and a water stop valve 45B, and water discharge paths 48 and 49 for discharging the electrolytic water generated in the electrolytic tank 42 are provided. There was an operation switch for generating electrolyzed water, and there was a control means for both driving the raw water supply means and applying voltage to the cathode 42A and the anode 42B by operating the operation switch.
