titleOfInvention | Wavelength conversion method, wavelength conversion device, and laser beam machine |
abstract | A wavelength conversion method and a wavelength conversion device capable of stably generating light whose wavelength has been converted by a nonlinear optical crystal for a long period of time, and a laser processing machine using the same. A wavelength conversion method according to the present invention converts an atmosphere in contact with a surface of a nonlinear optical crystal, from which a wavelength-converted light is emitted, into a gas having a nitrogen element content smaller than that of air. Further, the wavelength conversion device of the present invention is provided with means for setting the atmosphere in contact with the surface of the nonlinear optical crystal from which the wavelength-converted light is emitted to a gas having a nitrogen element content smaller than that of air. Further, a laser beam machine according to the present invention includes the above-described wavelength converter. According to the present invention, light whose wavelength has been converted by the nonlinear optical crystal can be stably generated for a long period of time. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1 |
