titleOfInvention | Thermally developable material having a barrier layer containing inorganic filler particles |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent diffusion of various chemical agents in a heat developable material. SOLUTION: The method includes a support, and a binder is provided on the support. Reactively related a) and b) below: a) a non-photosensitive source of reducible silver ions, comprising an organic silver salt; and b) a reducing agent composition for said reducible silver ions. A thermally developable material having one or more image forming layers comprising: an inorganic filler having a length to thickness ratio of 10 to 1000 over said one or more image forming layers. A barrier layer containing the agent particles is disposed, and the inorganic filler particles are those in which a hydrophilic or water-dispersible polymer is intercalated, or those which are swollen by a hydrophilic or water-dispersible polymer. A heat-developable material, characterized in that: [Selection diagram] None |
