PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulverization method for producing fine particles of a charge control agent having a smaller particle diameter. Further, the present invention provides a method for finely pulverizing a charge control agent for producing fine particles of a charge control agent having a property of being uniformly dispersed on the particle surface of a toner without reaggregation even after fine pulverization. Further, the present invention provides a method for producing a toner for developing an electrostatic charge image using the pulverization method. A method for finely pulverizing a charge control agent for a toner, the method comprising finely pulverizing the charge control agent by a mechanical pulverizer in the presence of inorganic fine particles having a BET specific surface area of 20 to 200 m 2 / g.
