A paper / film composite structure comprising a composite of paper and a film, wherein the film has a molar substitution degree of 0.05 to 1.3 with an alkyl group and / or a hydroxyalkyl group. A paper / film composite structure using a film comprising a cellulose ether having a degree of substitution.
