titleOfInvention catheter
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infusion catheter for injecting a therapeutic or diagnostic agent into tissues of various organs having an improved infusion needle. A catheter includes a catheter body having a proximal end and a distal end and a flexible tube having at least one lumen passing therethrough. . The catheter further includes a distal portion 14 which is formed by a flexible tube having a proximal end and a distal end. Also, an infusion needle extends into the distal portion, the catheter body portion, and the needle control handle, and has a distal end within the proximal and distal portions attached to the needle control handle 17. I have. The injection needle is slidable longitudinally within the distal end portion such that the distal end can extend beyond the distal end of the distal end portion by appropriate manipulation of the needle control handle.
