titleOfInvention | Screening method for therapeutic agent for memory disorder |
abstract | SOLUTION: Embryonic stem cells are cultured in suspension in the presence or absence of Noggin protein to form embryoid bodies, which are then cultured in suspension in the presence of fibroblast growth factor and sonic hedgehog protein. In the step of producing a cholinergic neuron by proliferating a neural stem cell and then differentiating the same to produce a cholinergic neuron, the subject is present, or is replaced by at least one of the noggin protein, fibroblast growth factor and sonic hedgehog protein. A screening method for a therapeutic agent for a memory disorder, comprising selecting a subject that affects the differentiation and proliferation of cholinergic neurons in the presence of the sample. According to the present invention, a therapeutic agent for a memory disorder caused by Alzheimer's disease or the like can be screened. [Selection diagram] None |
