abstract |
An electrolytic solution capable of simultaneously improving capacity and safety and a battery using the same are provided. A positive electrode and a negative electrode are laminated and wound with a separator interposed therebetween. The positive electrode 21 contains a lithium-nickel composite oxide and a lithium-manganese composite oxide. The separator 23 is impregnated with an electrolytic solution. The electrolytic solution contains an aromatic compound having a substituent having 5 to 9 carbon atoms, such as cyclohexylbenzene, and a cyclic carbonate, which is an unsaturated compound such as vinylene carbonate or vinylethylene carbonate. The aromatic compound prevents heat generation due to an internal short circuit. Also, the cyclic ester provides excellent capacity and cycle characteristics. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1 |
