titleOfInvention Method for treating wastewater containing water-soluble polymer compound
abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a treatment method for stably and highly detoxifying wastewater containing a water-soluble polymer compound. SOLUTION: In treating wastewater containing a water-soluble polymer compound, after performing a noncatalytic wet oxidation treatment at a temperature and pressure at which the wastewater retains a liquid phase and in the presence of an oxidizing agent, a catalytic wet oxidation is further performed. Perform processing. In addition, by adding an alkali to the wastewater in advance, the reduction of the molecular weight of the water-soluble polymer compound is promoted, the processing performance is further improved, and stable processing performance can be maintained for a longer period of time.
