abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a simple method for colorimetric detection of pyrophosphate, and further to easily utilize the method for colorimetric detection of nucleic acid amplification reaction. A method for colorimetric detection of pyrophosphoric acid using a filter, comprising the following steps. Step (a): adding a reagent for detecting pyrophosphate to a solution containing pyrophosphate to form an insoluble dye; step (b) filtering the solution through a filter made of a porous material to remove the insoluble dye into a filter. Step of capturing; Step (c): Colorimetric detection of the insoluble dye captured by the filter. A step of washing the filter between (b) and (c) to stop coloring may be added. The reaction solution after the nucleic acid amplification reaction is used as a solution containing pyrophosphate, and the reaction solution can be used as a method for detecting the nucleic acid amplification reaction.
