An outer peripheral surface of a long core material 12 made of a hard sintered body is covered with a coating layer 13 made of a material different from that of the core material 12, and the core material 12 is provided near an interface between the core material 12 and the coating layer 13. The binding metal concentration-enriched region x having a higher binding metal concentration than the center of the core material 12 is formed. In particular, the ratio Ds / Dc of the binding metal concentration Ds near the interface of the core material 12 to the binding metal concentration Dc at the center of the core material 12 1.05 or more.
