abstract The present invention provides a means capable of effectively suppressing the production of 8-hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine, which is a substance generated when DNA of cells in animals including humans is damaged. A refined product or semi-containing product containing an 8-hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine production inhibitor containing royal jelly as an active ingredient and an ingredient which inhibits the production of 8-hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine derived from royal jelly. The problem is solved by a purified product, or a composition containing any of them. [Selection figure] None
