abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a method of manufacturing a plastic lens capable of suppressing tape wrinkles in a tape molding method for sealing a gap between molds with an adhesive tape. An adhesive tape (13) is wrapped around the side surfaces of two molds (11, 12), and these molds (11, 12) are fixed with an adhesive tape. A raw material composition (20) is injected into a cavity (14) thereof. When curing the plastic lens 20 to obtain a plastic lens, the measured values of tensile strength and elongation according to JIS Z 0237 as the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 13 are obtained at a temperature at which the amount of polymerization shrinkage per unit time of the raw material composition is maximum. A material having a load of 3 kg or less and having a characteristic of easy elongation when pulled by 5 mm is used. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1 |
