abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a radiation image capturing apparatus capable of projecting a clear radiation image on a radiation image information detecting member even if the intensity of radiation is reduced. A radiation image capturing apparatus includes a radiation source, a subject table disposed below the radiation source, and a support mechanism disposed below the subject table. The mounting plate 16 of the support mechanism 14 can be located in a horizontal state facing the radiation source 6. The radiation image information detecting member 50 is placed on the opposite surface of the placing plate 16. Further, the mounting plate 16 is provided with a fixing mechanism 17 such as a magnet.
