titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for measuring composition of multi-component gas mixture
abstract An object of the present invention is to measure the composition of a multi-component gas mixture without accurately measuring the mixing ratio (composition) when the pressure of the gas mixture is other than the atmospheric pressure. There was a problem that dangerous gas mixtures could not be measured. Kind Code: A1 A multi-component gas mixture in which a constituent gas is known in advance, such as a multi-component gas mixture of nitrogen, oxygen, and ozone, wherein the composition is uniquely defined from the viscosity of the gas mixture. An absolute pressure gauge 1 for measuring the absolute pressure of a multi-component gas mixture 4 such as a gas mixture of which the mixing ratio of ozone is unknown, such as a diaphragm vacuum gauge, and a physical property value of the gas. For example, a quartz friction vacuum gauge, which is a pressure gauge sensitive to viscosity, a spinning rotor gauge, or another pressure measuring element 2 sensitive to physical properties is connected, and the pressure is simultaneously measured. The true physical property value of the multi-component gas mixture is obtained from the measured values of both pressures, and the composition is obtained from the corresponding data of the physical property value and the composition.
