abstract |
An HCCI combustion system can be used in the widest possible range of rotation speed / load under the best possible conditions. The basic fuel is selected from jets B as defined in ASTM D-1655, and includes paraffins; nitro compounds; peroxides; carbonates; acetals; ethers; Among glycol ethers and glycol esters, typical for fuel distillation curves adapted to those required for engine functioning in HCCI combustion mode or in combustion mode with self-ignition in a rather homogeneous phase.
