titleOfInvention Vane for rotary compressor and method for producing the same
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane for a rotary compressor, which is a sliding member having stable quality and extremely excellent lubricity and wear resistance, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The rotary compressor vane of the present invention removes a sulfurized layer on the surface by subjecting a special steel subjected to quenching and tempering treatment or carburizing treatment to gas sulfide nitriding using hydrogen sulfide and then barrel polishing. By exposing a dense nitrogen compound layer containing a sulfide excellent in lubricity, extremely stable sliding characteristics and wear resistance which are always stable can be obtained.
