abstract [PROBLEMS] To provide a solid cursive writing material which has a smooth writing feeling, a good paste, a color tone close to the color of a colorant, and a transparent handwriting on a smooth surface such as glass or plastic. . A solid writing material in which a coloring material and titanium oxide are blended and dispersed, wherein the average particle size of the titanium oxide is 100 nm or less, preferably 5 to 100 nm, and at least the coloring material, titanium oxide, and gel. A solid writing material comprising a forming agent, wherein the gel forming agent is an alkali metal salt or an ammonium salt of an aliphatic carboxylic acid.
