abstract |
An adsorbent for purifying IgG using a novel peptide or protein having a binding property to an IgG Fc fragment and a method for purifying IgG are provided. SOLUTION: Screening is performed by a phage display method using an IgG Fc fragment derived from various animals as a target substance, and an amino acid sequence of a peptide having a binding property to the target substance is identified. The amino acid sequences represented by SEQ ID NOs: 1 to 164 or the amino acid sequences thus obtained are modified, substituted with amino acid residues, inserted and / or modified to the extent that the binding of IgG to the Fc fragment is not impaired. A peptide or protein having an amino acid sequence selected from the deleted amino acid sequence is immobilized on a carrier as an affinity ligand, and IgG is purified using the immobilized peptide or protein.
