titleOfInvention | Peptide or protein capable of binding to Fc fragment of IgG |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a novel peptide or protein which has a binding property to an IgG Fc fragment and can be used for purification and detection of IgG. SOLUTION: Screening is performed by a phage display method using an IgG Fc fragment derived from various animals as a target substance, and an amino acid sequence of a peptide having a binding property to the target substance is identified. Thus obtained amino acid sequences represented by SEQ ID NOs: 1 to 164, or modifications, amino acid residue substitutions, insertions and / or amino acid residues in such amino acid sequences as long as the binding to IgG Fc fragments is not impaired. Peptides having a deleted amino acid sequence have the advantage that they can be chemically synthesized and can be prepared in large quantities at low cost. Further, since there is no concern about contamination or the like, it can be suitably used particularly for purification of antibodies for medical use. [Selection diagram] None |
