titleOfInvention | Osteogenesis treatment device |
abstract | An osteogenesis treatment device having excellent osteogenesis ability and capable of performing osteogenesis corresponding to the shape of a transplant site is provided. The osteogenesis treatment device of the present invention comprises a nucleic acid containing a base sequence encoding a bone morphogenetic protein (BMP), which is an osteoinductive factor, and a biocompatible porous block. And a substrate, which is implanted in a living body to perform a bone formation treatment. In the osteogenesis treatment device of the present invention, the area (average) of the boundary between adjacent holes in the substrate is A [μm 2 ], and the maximum cross-sectional area (average) of the holes is B [μm 2 ]. It is characterized in that B / A satisfies the relationship of 2 to 150. Further, such an osteogenic treatment device preferably contains one or both of a vector carrying the nucleic acid and an angiogenesis inducing factor. [Selection diagram] None |
