abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a composite ion-exchange membrane suitable for use as a polymer solid electrolyte membrane having high mechanical strength and excellent ion conductivity and power generation characteristics, particularly excellent high-temperature power generation properties, and a method for producing the same. The composite layer is formed by impregnating a support membrane made of a polybenzazole-based polymer having continuous voids with an ion-exchange resin layer, and a support formed on both surfaces of the composite layer so as to sandwich the composite layer. A composite ion exchange membrane having a surface layer made of an ion exchange membrane not containing a body membrane, wherein the ion exchange resin impregnated in the composite layer contains a polyarylene-based copolymer, and the ion exchange resin of the surface layer Has a surface layer made of a fluorine-based ion exchange resin having a thickness of 1 μm or more and 50 μm or less.
