titleOfInvention Sterilizing material, method for producing the same, and sterilizing system using the same
abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a nonionic bactericidal material which exhibits a bactericidal action by contact with harmful bacteria without using a substance having a bactericidal action by dissolved ions. Kind Code: A1 A bactericidal material in which 0.1 wt% or more of metallic silver 6 is supported on a ceramic base material 4 and the specific surface area of the base material 4 is 1 m 2 / g or more. In such a disinfectant, disinfection is performed by contact with the supported metallic silver 6, and a desired disinfecting action can be obtained against various bacteria such as Legionella bacteria and Escherichia coli. The metallic silver 6 supported on the base material 4 is in the form of particles having a diameter of 100 nm or less. The base material 4 is formed of a spherical ceramic having a diameter of 1 to 10 mm. Further, the diameter of the pores 8 on the surface of the base material 4 is 0.01 to 10 μm. [Selection] Fig. 2
