abstract 【Task】 In order to improve the quality of images printed on offset media, it is desirable to produce an inkjet printing system for use in offset printing. In addition to providing improved durability and print quality, it is particularly desirable to produce fixers and inks with improved paddling, turbidity, and bleed characteristics. [Solution] According to the present invention, an inkjet printing system for use in offset printing comprises a fixer and an ink. The fixer comprises a fixer polymer and a first fluorosurfactant package containing a fluorosurfactant and a hydrocarbon surfactant. The ink comprises a charged dye and a second fluorosurfactant package. The use of the fixer with the ink improves paddling, turbidity, and bleed characteristics in offset printing.
