abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incubator in which observation and analysis of a sample do not take much time and an environment in a chamber does not change. SOLUTION: In an incubator 1 according to the present invention, a stacker 3 having a plurality of microplate accommodation sections is provided in a chamber 11, and a microplate 31 is conveyed in the chamber 11 to provide an arbitrary microplate. A microplate transport device 5 that can be put in and out of the storage section is provided. In addition, a camera 7 is provided at a position facing the topmost microplate storage unit of the stacker 3 toward the microplate storage unit, and a sample on the microplate 31 stored in the microplate storage unit is collected.
