abstract An object of the present invention is to suppress generation of lumps which cause a decrease in yield and to remove methanol in crystals of a purine derivative nucleotide disodium crystal to a low level in a short time. In a crystallization step, a purine derivative nucleotide disodium is crystallized in a methanol solution, and in a solid-liquid separation step, the purine derivative nucleotide disodium crystal generated in the crystallization step is solid-liquid separated and overdried. In the step, the separated purine derivative nucleotide disodium crystals are overdried, and in the humidity control step, after contacting the aqueous solution containing a hydrophilic organic solvent with the overdried purine derivative nucleotide disodium, under high humidity conditions After humidity control, a purine derivative nucleotide disodium crystal having a low residual methanol content is obtained.
