A novel means for screening a glycosaminoglycan binding substance is provided. A glycosaminoglycan comprising a lipid bound to a glycosaminoglycan is used as a glycosaminoglycan-binding substance-trapping material, and the glycosaminoglycan has the following steps (1) and (2). A screening method for a Saminoglycan binding substance.
