The present invention provides a flame retardant resin composition which is excellent in flame retardancy, particularly in a thin wall, has a good impact resistance, and is suitable for a thin large molded article. (A) (1) A resin component (A-1 component) comprising 50 to 100% by weight of an aromatic polycarbonate resin and 0 to 50% by weight of a styrene resin, or (2) 20 to 80% by weight of a polyphenylene ether resin. And a resin component (A-2 component) comprising 80 to 20% by weight of polystyrene. However, A-1 component or A-2 component is called "A component". And (B) a flame retardant (component B) comprising the phosphoric acid ester represented by formula (I), and A component is 65 to 99% by weight per 100% by weight of the total of component A and component B B component is a flame retardant resin composition having a composition of 1 to 35% by weight.
