titleOfInvention Method for producing O, O-dimethyl-O- (p-cyanophenyl) phosphorothioate
abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a method for stably producing O, O-dimethyl-O- (p-cyanophenyl) phosphorothioate having good thermal stability. In the presence of a copper catalyst and a base, p-cyanophenol and O, O-dimethyl phosphorothiochloride are reacted to produce O, O-dimethyl-O- (p-cyanophenyl) phosphorothioate. A method for producing O, O-dimethyl-O- (p-cyanophenyl) phosphorothioate, characterized in that p-cyanophenol washed or recrystallized with a water-containing organic solvent is used in the method.
