titleOfInvention Carbon electrode, electrode including the same, and dye-sensitized solar cell
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon electrode capable of promptly causing an oxidation-reduction reaction on an electrode surface and a counter electrode including the carbon electrode, even when the power of irradiated light fluctuates within a range of 100 mW / cm 2 at the maximum. Provided is a dye-sensitized solar cell which can obtain excellent energy conversion efficiency and also excellent durability. SOLUTION: The carbon electrode CE3 includes carbon black particles α, particles β made of a columnar conductive carbon material, and anatase type titanium oxide particles γ as constituent materials. The particles made of the columnar conductive carbon material have a bottom surface diameter of 50 to 500 nm and a height of 1 to 20 μm, and the content mass W1 of the particles α, the content mass W2 of the particles β, and the content mass W3 of the particles γ are Equation (1): 0.05 ≦ (W1 / W2) ≦ 0.4 and Equation (2): Simultaneously satisfy the conditions expressed by 0.05 ≦ {W3 / (W1 / W2)} ≦ 0.4. ing. The dye-sensitized solar cell 40 includes the electrode CE3 as a counter electrode. [Selection diagram] Fig. 4
