abstract A display image recording method and a display image recording apparatus capable of recording a clear image on an image recording medium by a simple method while constantly observing an image displayed on a display screen. A projection unit for projecting light representing an image, a projection surface on which light is projected from the projection unit, and a display surface on the back surface of the projection surface for displaying an image based on the projected light. A screen 10 having an image 12 is prepared, and the display image displayed on the screen 10 is displayed on the image recording medium 3 by bringing the image recording medium 3 on which the image is recorded by irradiation of light representing the image into close contact with the display surface 12.
