abstract | Provided are a photochromic dye having excellent heat resistance and light resistance when dispersed in a matrix, and a film-forming composition containing the photochromic dye. The film-forming composition of the present invention includes an indolinospironaphthoxazine-based photochromic compound having at least one epoxy group in the side chain and a compound having a functional group capable of reacting with the epoxy group.
