abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a material having an antitumor effect derived from a natural source which has few side effects and can be used for a long period of time in order to prevent or delay diseases such as malignant neoplasms. The present invention provides a formulation, cosmetics, food and food additive from which an antitumor active ingredient contained in a vulgaris, which is a kind of green algae, ivy iridaceae, can be efficiently extracted by subjecting the vulgaris to an appropriate processing step. 【Effects】 Formulations, cosmetics, foods and food additives, which use native processing of caviar native to Okinawa and have a history of eating, are effective in preventing and delaying diseases such as malignant neoplasms.
